PostSubject: Sublocation exploit   Wed Jun 23, 2010 4:08 am

I think someone described this on the boards once before, but I can't find it and sadly, this forum lacks a search feature. So I'm hoping one of y'all will remember it.

Anyway, I remember reading about an exploit that allows you to generate as many sublocations as you'd like (up to the maximum of 10(?) per area), but I don't remember the details. I'm trying an experiment and I'd sort of like to use this bug/exploit/feature in conjunction with it. Can anyone help me out here?

Yeah, I think I posted something about it. It's not considered bug or anything, because it's been reported like 3 months ago.

Anyways, here's the trick to it. You find a sublocation, Log out, log back in. Another sublocation, log out, log back in, etc. I you have more than one internet provider (Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc.), and one account, what you do is have each server memorize your account name/password. Go to Firefox, get sublocation, log in on Internet Explorer to same account, etc.

This may sound strange, but I currently have 48 sub-locations discovered on my level 6 alt that i'm currently carding up. I'm not sure what's going on there, but I have a LOT of locations available..thought there was a limit.

Tried the find a sub and log out then log back in today. No such luck. Mayhaps I did it wrong. Found the sub, hit log out. Logged back in to base and hit last exploration, hit adventure and had a regular fight.

Yes, I have to say I've lost interest in the exploit for now, because my card-farming guys have as many as 20 sublocations available on some maps, so I'm not so keen to find them at the moment. That might change in the distant future when I'm hunting face cards, though.

I'm 47 and 50 is the highest I can set a location atm due to the lack of new places till GUE. Been this way since 46 and while my trophies for pest control have yet to show up I have spreadsheets listing them as well past done. I'd like to be exploring regularly at +5 not +3. QQ. I've got the 5 face cards and missing 2 infinities, due to the current card bug just working to grind to 52.

I have one character (Mirea) who has the 9 of Rain, and I've been hoping that she'd get an infinity card ever since. But since she also has so many other cards that could drop for her, I haven't worried whether or not she's suffering from the card drop bug. And she's only 21, so there's lots of exploring left for her to do.

@Sylvaton
There's a card drop bug? I hadn't heard about it. Though I feel you on the sub-location bit. Most of my 19's are sitting solid with close to 100's on all sections of the Double Fanuci slots, so I'm going and hitting the areas with the lowest lvls to avoid any accidental leveling. But I hadn't noticed anything amiss with card drops, other then it's not as often, can I ask what's up with it?

I'm just repeating what I've heard on here, mostly from swith's post above mine. Smile I rarely if ever read Jolt's forums, so I'm not up on the news there. I figure if it's big enough, someone'll mention it here sooner or later...
