Allo. I'm new to Zork. Actually, I tripped on it yesterday while my significant other was busy killing things on the PS3 with this d00de named Kratos. Krasos? ^_~ Needless to say, I was getting a bit of a headache watching him smash things (Insert GRRRRR here) in God of War so... Niela was born. Anyway, I'm an avid gamer who just happens to be attached to the hip to another avid gamer. On our off time, we like to play at being Corpsmen who sometimes pretend to know what we're about as we waddle over the corals of Okinawa in scuba gear. I look forward to getting to know you guys better. Very Happy

It's ok Dustin. Online Navy folk ain't bad, plus Navy in general knows how to throw down at a party.
I still have many friends today that I met through the Navy, even got a special award just for being a very determined girlfriend... I kid you not, I wasn't even married at the time, and they gave me an award. In general I love military folk, not just because they're pretty cool in themselves, but because they have the guts and courage that I do not, plus they can stand to be up before the buttcrack of dawn, and I enjoy my snooze button far too much to even consider boot camp.

Cheers to all the military, army, navy, marines, air force all of them. Just because you rock for keeping my freedoms safe for me.

I know a few concrete people myself, and they all seem to say the same thing: it sucks, but the money is good. I'm a blueprint redliner specialist, if you know what that means, and it's by far much less exciting :p I also dabble in trucking, as well.

And yeah, I don't envy concrete finishers. I'd much rather be inside doing drywall finishing over outside. Idon't know how you stand the cold and trying to deal with concrete while bundled up.

I am Russ and Rad Ranger was a name I used on an old commodore 64 game in the late 80's. I live in Kansas. No I have not seen Dorothy nor her dog Toto. Yet I have had tornados pass near my home twice as a teen. Met a guy who rode out Katrina on a paddle wheel boat and he laughs at the idea of a tornado. I suppose you Floridians have dealt with hurricanes as well. Alaska, well you just have the Northern Lights and long dark nights. I was down under to Melbourne when I was 16. It was raining in the first part of June when I was there. Not quite all the way to New Zealand but I suppose you have some rainy "winters" during our hot summers. Been in Canada twice. Spent a week in Costa Rica. In the States have called Arizona, Oklahoma, Kentucky, and Kansas home. Born and raised here in Kansas but glad to be in the Great Underground now. For fun and time with nature when not at LoZ, I Disc Golf and consider a bogey par.

Well met, Russ! Nice intro there and always great to meet another C-64 enthusiast. Could always tell with the Infocom games when your actions would get a result, as the floppy drive would start accessing like mad... for better or worse!

@Russ: I love disc golfing. Just got in to it this year. My brother and I play as often as we can. He plays a regular Par 3, but I'm a Par 4... And even then, I should be playing with the children and ladies... I'm more of a par 5 or 6. lol.
