What's up with all the charactors with no or little ARDR. Easy money but what's the point? scratch What am I missing?

They usually exist for (in my experience) one of three reasons:

1) The player doesn't really understand the game (i.e., how to maximize his character)
2) The player has turned this character into a fame cow[super]TM[/super]
3) The player has turned the character into an "arena mule" (hat tip, Nerb) who exists to be an easy win.
