| Hey there Robbie, welcome to the clan! I too live in New Zealand but am originally from the States. I've been lucky enough to call Wellington home these past four years.
RTZ is awesome I am currently replaying it using Scrumm VM. Never did finish it in the first place.

| Hiya,
My name is Jerry (Paeth). As a quick run down, I'm 28, ex-military, now a desk jockey, freshly married, had my first anniversary just a couple of months ago, No kids save for the 3puppies I've been raising since their birth ^_^ And I do origami and martial arts to kill time. lol
I'm a bit of a gamer, but stumbled on LoZ by complete random chance, and remembred and old "Choose your won Adventure" Zork Book I had as a kid. I wasn't privelaged to have any of the C-64 games, but either way I couldn't resist the charms of the LoZ world.
Been poking around in game for a couple months now. Ad it's been a nice turn to be picked up by you guys. You seem like a lively bunch and I look forward to doing my part!

| Welcome aboard, Jerry. I was about your age when I had my first anniversary, and about a year later I was a father. 0.o I have a passing interest in origami -- I bought an "origami-a-day" desk calender a few years back and had fun learning some of the folds. Then the calendar ran out and I promptly forgot everything. <sigh> I'd blame it on age, but I'm just not that old yet. The kid. I'll blame it on the kid instead. lol | |

| Hey, Thanks for the invite whoever that was from, I recieved about 10 clan invites from far too many serious looking clans before somthing fun came along, thank (enter deity here). My name is Mart, in from England but currently on holiday in Thailand, im here alot acctually, try to get a few holidays in every year, just celebrated my 25th birthday and im married, no kids yet thankfully. Really enjoying the quirky humour on Zork, and was attracted to it from a love of 'Munchkin' if anyways played it that will know what I mean, and anyone who hasnt played it should check it out, best card game ever invented. I hope this clan is as active as you seem to be, and it should be fun to enjoy the game with some people ! | |

| Hi I'm Philip from Belgium.
I am completely new to Zork and made three characters named Thane Krios, Urdnot Wrex and Phil Payne. I borrowed the names for my first two characters from the Mass Effect games which I love. Phil Payne is just my first name combined with the noun pain to remember my enemies that they will feel pain whenever I want to cause it. (but not really)
I have a crappy computer so I do not play a lot of games. I play mass Effect on my brother's PC and Final Fantasy XIII on my other brother's X-box. I also have a Nintendo Wii myself, which has some great games but I don't have a lot of spare time except for the summer.
I am a student logistics at Antwerp. I will probably be a freight forwarder or perhaps something less boring when I graduate next year.
I haven't read all pages in this topic, but I'm sure you're all an interesting lot.

| Hi folks, I'm Sue and I'm married to that Sylvaton guy. I made and studied art for about ten years until one day I didn't need to anymore. I discovered dating and old school RPG's at about the same time which was a real mind blower and took me YEARS to get properly sorted out, but I emerged a fairly normal and productive member of society. Honest! I love to cook; the Cooking Channel and Food Network are my porn. I especially love ethnic cooking and discovering new dishes from around the world. It is one of the few areas where I am truly brave. Except for bugs. I draw the line at bugs and chitlins. I never got into electronic gaming but after years of talking to the backs of my husband and son's heads while they played video and computer games I decided, If you can't beat em, join em. This may have been a mistake but I'm having too much fun to care. I reek at anything requiring a controller (I can just about manage Spiro the little purple dragon but Mario and his kin have me buffaloed). I was surprisingly good at WoW but end game raiding was too consuming and filled with guild drama. The Sims, while hilarious, was too much like work. I love multi-player Civ, Risk and Monopoly but the declining number of functional computers in the house means hot seating. I am new to Zork and love the playful atmosphere. I did not know there were earlier versions and am intrigued. Where does one find them? Anyway, Thanks for welcoming me to the Florian family. | |

| Hmmm. I don't know if there is a website that hosts the original games anymore. But I think Zork started back before Pentium made it's first processor. so that's pretty old school...
I have been boycotting Food Network for two reasons, Rachael Ray, and I'm on a diet. That female has a voice that is as comforting as nails on a chalkboard to me, and she's so popular and trite I want to scratch her eyes out. If you're going to be popular, at least you should have a good reason for it. Like being beautiful (she isn't) Having a sexy voice (she doesn't) and genuinely love your job for which you are being broadcast all over the world for (her hubby got it for her, then she pretends not to be married??)...
so much GRR at her. But Good Housekeeping still lures me to look at their cake and pastries. And dream of the day I can eat such nummies and not gain an immediate 20 pounds right in my ass.

| Infocom will always have a place in my heart as my favourite game maker and many of the best games I have played were theirs. I think this is because they're text-based (and well written), so it's really your imagination that colours these games. So, to me they are on a par with some of the best books I have read, if that makes any kind of sense.
Anyways, I am with ya there, Quilt Girl and welcome to the Clan!
